NEW TO PARKSIDE

What does a typical Sunday look like?

Our Sunday school begins at 9:45 am. Each class is structured to meet your personal needs. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, enjoy fellowship, and hear a lesson more directly applicable to your life. The best way to get to know people at Parkside Baptist Church is to visit one of these adult Bible classes. After Sunday school, in our main auditorium, you will enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, ensembles, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from our preacher, Dr. Wells. This service is a little over one hour in length.

What about my kids?

Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children four years old and under. For infants, our nursery attendants will assist you in checking in your baby and easily contact you if there is a need. For children five through eleven years old there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

What about my teens?

Our student ministries are broken down into classes by grades. They assemble in our Youth Center for Sunday school and then split into their individual classes. Most of the teens attend a class for one hour and then the church service for another hour with their parents.

How should I dress?

Sundays are exciting, and we want you to feel at home. There is no dress code for those attending our services. In any given church service, you will see those dressed in suits and ties, and dresses, while others may be in their work clothes. What matters to us is that you come to grow in the Lord with us!
